Today we went to the beach, but when you’re so far north the best thing to do is to wear a coat and quietly observe from the top of the levy…but if you’re me, you will most likely roll up your jeans, take off your sandals (a poor choice anyway), let your hair and scarf blow in the wind, and hike out into where the water should be and enjoy the muddiness of low tide.
